Create a Custom Order

You have the ability to send an order through Forager to suppliers who are not setup on Forager. You can do this through "Custom Orders". This can be helpful when sending orders to occasional or one-time suppliers. 

To access Custom Orders, click the "Orders" truck icon and then select "Custom Order":

You can select the requested delivery day from the drop down menu under "Delivery Date":

Click "Add New Product" to begin adding items to your order:

You can fill in the order information fields:

You can also specify if you are ordering by the case size:

Enter the supplier information under "Producer Details" and then click "Save" to send the order to the supplier:

The order will be emailed to the supplier, and you now have a record of the order in Forager. Any email correspondence or updates / changes to the order will be logged in the "Conversation" pane.

Once you've sent a Custom Order through Forager, the system will remember the supplier information too and the next time, you can select the supplier from the drop down list:
